Oracle bone script was the form of Chinese characters used on oracle bones—animal bones or turtle plastrons used in the late 2nd millennium BCE, and is the earliest known form of Chinese writing. This game can be used in multiple ways - learn mandarin characters from their earliest picture form and follow their transformation to modern day words. The cards are coded via fruits, animals and food on the other side so children can have another sorting or memory game as well. This card game is self correcting so anyone can learn and play!

There are 108 cards, based on 36 commonly used Chinese characters in total of 4 themes. Each character has 3 representations, namely a drawing, oracle bone script and simplified chinese character.
